Welcome to the first edition of Danvers & Beyond.

I’m so glad you’re here.
After two decades leading iconic hospitality brands, I've learned what truly matters to be successful: Listening, anticipating needs, and delivering excellence at every guest connection. Real estate is no different. Whether buying or selling, I bring that same care and precision to help you, my guest, move with confidence and feel at home in the process.
Whether you’re curious about the market, thinking about a future move, or simply love life on the North Shore, my goal is to offer thoughtful guidance and a warm perspective rooted in experience. This journal is a place for all of that: Local insight, community stories, great food, market clarity, and the little things that help you feel more at home, wherever home may be next.
I look forward to our continued connection.

When is the “BEST” time to sell?
I believe the best time is when it aligns with your own individual goals and when your home can be positioned to shine in the current market.
Honestly, every season on the North Shore offers strategic advantages. The key is preparation, pricing, and presentation, all of which can be tailored to maximize demand no matter what month.
Fall is one of the strongest seasons on the North Shore. Some pros include:
- Beautiful foliage makes any home look warm and inviting
- Buyers who missed spring/summer are still motivated
- Less crowded market = your home stands out
- Historically steady pricing across Essex County
Fall performs especially well in towns with charm and strong commuter access like Danvers, Middleton, and Topsfield.

Thanksgiving Tips from My Hospitality Days
Simple ways to elevate your holiday meal, without the stress.
After years of serving Thanksgiving dinner to hundreds of guests from bustling steakhouse kitchens, I picked up a few tricks that completely changed the holiday cooking experience at my home. These methods make everything juicier, easier to time, and so much more flavorful, especially if you’re hosting a crowd.

Confit the Legs & Wings: Instead of roasting the whole bird at once, I like to confit the legs and wings separately, slow-cooking them in seasoned duck-fat until they’re unbelievably tender.
Why it works:
- Dark meat becomes so savory-soft, not stringy or dry
- You can cook these a day ahead, saving valuable time
- It frees up your oven for everything else on T-Day
- The pan drippings make the richest gravy you’ve ever had
- Hint: Order extra thighs & legs, they are THAT good
Roll & Stuff the Breast for a Foolproof Centerpiece: Restaurant chefs rarely roast a whole breast-on bird, it’s too easy to overcook. Instead, they de-bone & butterfly the turkey breast, spread a flavorful stuffing or herb mixture, roll it up like a roulade, and tie it up with kitchen twine.
Why it works:
- The breast cooks evenly (no dry edges!)
- It slices beautifully for the table
- You can customize the stuffing, herbs, mushrooms, apple-sausage, anything
- It cooks faster and more predictably
Pair it with your confit legs and wings, and suddenly you have a turkey dinner that tastes like it came from a professional kitchen… because it kind of did.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! I hope you’ll email me for the recipes I use!!!

A Warm Note Before You Go
As we head into the holiday season, I know many families start thinking about their next chapter. Whether that’s upsizing, downsizing, exploring investment ideas, or simply getting a better sense of what the market looks like right now, I’m here for all of it.
If you want an advisor to talk through your plans, ask a question, or get clarity on timing, I’m at your service with the same care, hospitality, and thoughtful guidance I brought to every guest connection. Wishing you a cozy, joyful season ahead… and I look forward to staying connected.
Warmly, Kim
